Severn Covenant believes that the purpose of our youth ministry is to assist parents and call our youth to maturity. According to the Bible, parents are responsible to grow their children in the admonition of the Lord. Our desire is to assist parents with practical training that is based on the Bible and may help prepare youth for adulthood. Severn Covenant Church offers, for ages 13-15 girls and boys, meetings twice a month. Boys meet with mature men who mentor and pass on life skills to help boys successfully transition into young adult years. Girls meet with women who lovingly pass on their experience to help prepare the girls for their future roles and being part of the Body of Christ. In addition, fun activities are planned and chaperoned by multiple adults. Our meetings are designed to infuse God's word in practical ways.
